i live outside of murwillumbah and hendra has now been diagnosed in mullumbimby which is not far from us. I have 3 miniature horses and have read about signs and symptoms but how safe is anyone, horse or animal. As my family has had serious health issues in the past what does one do. keep beloved horses or put down as one cant risk the possible effects. damned if you do damned if you dont. any thoughts

I have a 14yr old mare out of Wonder Spring Rubus x throughbred, she is beautiful. Wish there where more Belgian Drafts in OZ.
